Welcome to the AED Nominations Submission Portal!! Through this website you can nominate individuals for the 2019-2020 Board of Directors and the 2019-2022 Nominations Committee. We are also accepting nominations for the AED awards that are presented annually at the International Conference on Eating Disorders (ICED) in New York, NY, USA March 14-16, 2019.

Using the first tab, you will be prompted to create a new entry for each type of nomination and/or each person you wish to nominate. There are no limits to the number of nominations you can submit.

Once you choose the type of nomination you are currently completing, the second tab will include information specific to that category. For instance, if you are nominating someone for the Board of Directors, you will see information on each of the open positions:
  • President-Elect
  • Treasurer
  • Director for Annual Meetings
  • Director for Membership
  • Director for Standards of Excellence
If you are nominating someone for the Nominations Committee, a description of the responsibilities for that role will appear on the 2nd tab.

If you choose to nominate someone for an AED honor or award, the second tab will provide you with information on each honor or award from which you can choose.

Please note that your LOGON and PASSWORD for this portal is unique to this site. Your credentials for this site may be different from your AED Membership/ and your AED Abstract Submission Portal credentials.

To participate, simply login using the link below, or create an account if you have not done so already. For new users to the system, please follow the instructions on the "How To Use This Site" tab.

Process for New Users

1. Register

Click on the "Register" link and complete and submit the registration form. Please click the button below.

2. Login

Login to the system with your email and password. To login, please click on the button below.

3. Create

Select and create your online application.

4. Save

During the Call for Applications period, your submission can be saved as DRAFT until all the required information is completed and attachments uploaded. As each section is complete, you will see a appear in the category tab when the application is saved. Please ensure that all attachments are in Acrobat PDF format. At any time, you can download and print your nomination/application by clicking on the icon in the Application Summary section.

5. Submit

On completion, save your application as FINAL. Download and print a copy of your submission for your records by clicking on the icon in the Application Summary section in the right column.
